PTA Stands for Parent Teacher Association
The Greenvale PTA is a group of volunteers who promote the welfare of children and bring into closer relation the home and school.  We strive to find cultural arts programs that enhance the learning of the children at our school.  There are various programs and committees offered through our PTA.  We encourage all to join our membership and help us achieve our goals.  Your involvement directly impacts your child and his or her success in their education

Flashmaster Orders

What is a flashmaster? It is an 11 ounce computer that replaces flashcards. It makes learning math fun! Students are able to practice their mathematics: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and divison.  For more information on flashmasters. please visit their website http://www.flashmaster.com

The PTA membership has approved the spending of funds to purchase 100 flashmasters give our children extra help with computation. Each grade with receive 25 flashmasters.  The PTA would like to extend the quantity discount to parents who want to purchase one for their personal use.

"Simply Stated" Gala - volunteer needed for solicitations team

The PTA is starting  the effort to solicit donations for this year's gala fundraiser.  We are still in need of volunteers to join the solicitations team. If interested or any questions, please contact

After School Club volunteer needed

The Greenvale PTA is in need of an After School Club assistant to Danielle LaCalamita for Spring 2012 session. The volunteer will be trained with the  possibility of becoming the chairperson for next school year's After School Club..
